What to Expect
Depart from Belize City drive 50 miles north to the town of Orange Walk. Your guide will be interpreting the area you’re passing by and also talk about the History of Belize. We then stop at the toll Bridge landing area to use the restroom and then board the boat that will take us up the new river appx. (36 miles) enjoying the flora and fauna on the river. Upon arrival at “Lamanai,” local lunch is served under the palapa. Lunchtime is appx. 30 mins. this also includes your restroom break. After lunch you gather up by the museum area then you start to walk in the reserve where your guide will be interpreting the site trail and also the structures in situ. After the tour 30 mins for shopping on site before departure back home, in time to catch a connection to the hotel.
